The new SPECTRA series represents an evolution in the illumination of aquariums.
The SPECTRA builds on our long experience of high performance aquarium lighting with improved glare control and the introduction of high performance quad T5 fluorescent lighting in conjunction with the powerful metal halide (HQI) technology. SPECTRA combines 4 powerful T-5 tubes and single ended MH bulbs up to 400 Watt each.
Each pair of tubes is individually switched so it is possible to start the day with a pair of actinic tubes, then to introduce the power of two Aquablue+ tubes before finally switching on the halide lamps.
This provides a more gradual and therefore natural increase and decrease in light intensity.

The INFINITI combines the intensity and glitter lines of metal halide lighting with the power and colour of multiple T5 tubes - up to four which can be switched

The lamp bodies of the INFINITI series are made from a high-quality aluminium and magnesium alloy, which allows a significant weight reduction whilst still retaining a thick section for strength and heat dissipation.
The extremely flat design with the multiple ventilation slots has been developed in such a way that the electronic parts are thermally separated from the main lighting system. This guarantees an almost noiseless operation and an extraordinary performance quality.
We have integrated low-loss ballasts and digital igniters for perfect triggering of the HQI bulbs. The digital igniters are very silent and have the advantage of stopping the inbuilt electronics immediately if the light is not functioning properly to avoid any damage to the lamps.
The hanging position of the light is totally adjustable both in height and along the length of the light so in total, movement is possible horizontally, axially or vertically.

The integrated computer allows you, to dim the four T-5 tubes individually. At the desired time the lighting starts up at minimum power and gradually reaches maximum performance according to your stipulated requirements. Then, again at the desired time, the system slowly reduces the output down to the minimum.
Not only does this offer the inhabitants of your aquarium optimum living conditions, it also cuts your electricity costs. You can also program a cloud simulation during which the lighting is reduced between 10 and 90 % intensity for a few minutes at random.
The blue illuminated liquid crystal display provides clear indication of all functions and operating conditions. The user-friendly display provides information on all settings in as many as four languages. It even tells you when the various fluorescent and metal halide lamps need to be replaced.

The new Moonlight is available in 1200, 1500, 1800 mm, either with 150 Watt or 250 Watt metal halide bulbs.

The flat design with its soft outline is made of high-quality aluminium alloy into which we have integrated low-loss ballasts and digital igniters to ensure an ideal triggering of the halide bulbs and to guarantee an almost noiseless operation. Low-loss UV-filters with partial printing are standard equipment as are the parabolic aluminium reflectors which are designed to work nearly glare-free.
One of the most useful features the system 230 offers is the very easy replacement of the bulbs, where only one screw has to be removed. Also, it is possible to align the lamp vertically or horizontally in order to achieve the best lighting position for an individual requirement. Even the starter model SYSTEM 230 eco includes this standard feature.
The systems 400 and 400 plus have been developed due to the demand for the highest light power and maximum colour stability. Only a few lamps of this type are able to provide this level of light performance.
The system 400 has been built to provide a flexible solution to the illumination of larger aquariums or those with a higher light demand, especially salt-water aquariums and therefore you will find this lamp in many public aquaria around the world.
Within a home aquarium environment, the large reflector area maximises the light output from the single ended bulbs to provide the perfect light and to give maximum light spread. This makes the system 400 perfect for providing growth and colour for more light sensitive animals like SPS corals.
With its external ballast the pendant unit itself is very light and will hang easily above any aquarium. The system 400 plus version includes two additional integrated compact fluorescent tubes that can be switched independently from the main lighting for a more gradual increase in light.
BILUX - double power
The ultimate in power is achieved from this innovative light which has a large reflector and two bulbs side by side in the same reflector allowing blending of blue and white spectrums for the perfect colour.
